Hiya! I'd like to get into the game, but I'm struggling to find any information on game mechanics...I'd like to feel like I'm making competent decisions about my weapons, but I'm just not sure I understand what may inform those decisions. I'm not sure how to tell what resistances enemies have or what their shields will block or not block. I've been watching the combat logs and sometimes energy gets through shields sometimes it does not...do all shields block energy if it's not the robot's charged beam?...

Heya, what weapons would you recommend to various classes? Quicker or slower and hard hitting?

Just wondering if there will ever be any updates for this game. I saw that Chimera game they were making but I wondered if they would ever come back to improving or adding more content to StarCrawlers?

I'm starting this game, and the engineer looks like my favorite to chose for my main character, but some guides say it's the weakest class. Is that still true, or was that before some balance changes?

As I understand there are 4 main faction + some neutral ones. Big factions are: UFP, Workers United, Accord, and Anarchists. I haven't gone beyond 3-4 story missions so I don't know much about said factions, and know about Accord only from steam guides. UFP are just corpos, greedy and "proffesional". Workers United are anti corpos and UFP, probably communist. Anarchists are "chaotic evil" faction, consists of pirates and other very bad people. Accord are corpos too but I don't know how they're different...
