Where to get blueprints?

I'm looting a heck of a lot of things that require blueprints. I'm level 10 already and have yet to find a single one. Are they lootable objects, or do they have to do with the purple building at Terminus that I suspect I still have to unlock?

You get em from Containers or the odd Boss in Sidemissions.

Yupo, it is a scavenger hunt but don't be frustrated. The items as of now seem rather... mediocre for that slot.

Actually, turns out I have a few, got them first before the stuff that requires them, and never since. It says "compatible with an autobench." Sounds like a crafting mechanic. Is that the purple building I haven't been to yet?

Auto benches are... well... workbenches that spawn in facility missions.

I've trashed a bunch of the items for the blueprints because I ran out of space and barely ever find blueprints.

File cabinets in office mission cubicles have been the usual spot I've been finding blueprints and components.

Yup can confirm that. At some point int he early access though I think their spawn rate was fixed to certain mission types. As it seems now they can spawn everywhere?

Well, I am currently doing the story mission "Triangulatin'" so if that means something I haven't unlocked yet, (such as facility type missions) that might be why.

I tend to get components more on side missions than the main story. Do more sidemissions.
