Room south of boss in Good Housekeeping mission

Any advice on getting into the room two rooms to the south of the boss in the Good Housekeeping mission? Specifically, it's south of the room just south of the boss. The door has a red light. I've included a screenshot. Thanks in advance!

There are two screens, one on each side of the level. If you activate both screens, a hatch will open up way at the start of the level. This leads to a secret route that takes you straight to that door, skipping the entire level. It's really useless, since going through half of the level twice (half of left route, half of right route) and then going back to the secret route, isn't really much faster than just choosing one route and going to the end the normal way.

I think you have to be working for Aurora to get this option, since the other two give different benefits.
