Elemental War Clash

Details on Hero Mode and Classic Mode?
Hello,

I'm assuming the "Survival Mode" is going to be something similar to an "Endless Mode" but I would like to know what are the two other about.

There is no mention of a campaign or story-driven missions in the description; "solving quests" with no context could mean many things..

So I'm just curious what to expect from those Hero Mode and Classic mode, for the single-player experience :ExcitedMiria:

Hey :)

Classic mode uses pre-defined waves, so wave 1 is always the same monster, wave 2 always the same and so on. It has 60 waves and once you survived the last one it's over and you won.

Survival and hero mode are both endless modes. Survival mode has no breaks between the spawns, but order of monsters is always the same. Hero mode has classic waves (that means with breaks), but the order is randomized, so you can get pretty strong enemies early on.

There is no story campaign, but some lore told through the quests. Quests appear in all game modes (singleplayer free play and coop). They are little missions you can solve to unlock new items. These items are added to your item pool from which you get some each playthrough. They drop when defeating an elemental (boss) and there are always 5 hidden on the maps to discover. Items then can e.g. buff your tower stats, weaken monsters or even change damage type of the towers or add special effects like a shrinking monsters. Some affect all towers/monsters, some are active abilities and some can be equipped to single towers.

On top there are 12 scenarios which basically are challenge maps. They limit you to a specific map and depending on the scenario for example just certain elements to use, certain monsters that will spawn and so on.

Hope that helps, if you have more questions feel free to ask :)
