DirectX?
I bought and installed the game, but I haven't been able to play it, due to an error that comes up, which reads: "Unable to find a DirectX device. Make sure you have DirectX installed and have installed the latest drivers for your video card." I'm pretty new to Steam, so I don't know what DirectX is.. Is this a standard requirement to play games through Steam? How do I obtain it, if so? Thanks!

i've had the same problem and cannot seem to find the right solution. The only thing i could do was request for a refund.

Try running the game from this file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Nancy Drew Secret of the Old Clock

I solved the problem with a program called dgvoodoo. Just download and put the DLL files included in your folder. Good luck!
