Burning units
Hello I have a problem after playing the game for like a couple minutes into a load any troop or building i drag my courser over burns ( not enemy or ally of course) I have not tampered with any of the games content. I'v tried restarting the lvl and even deleting the game and reinstalling it still doesn't fix the issue. I'm on windows 10. Plz help asap

This is the anticracking - stuff kicking in.
Changing the contents of the game-directory by any means can cause this. So maybe uninstall - delete the whole directory on your disk - then reinstall.

Done that already. Never tampered with anything with the game because nothing needs to be tampered with haha. But I do remember a thing about the first starcraft and broodwar that they would crash after beating a lvl, but if you remove them from the "program files (86)" folder it stopped it. So i did then same with the whole steam folder and so far i haven't encountered any other problems so far. I bought this off of steam so I have no disc. I'll let you know if this actully fixes it or not because this maybe a common fix. windows 10 isn't old tech friendly haha. Even though this game isn't that old.

So you moved the whole steam - folder to another location ? Or what did u do ? I'm a bit lost here :)

Yeah I moved the whole steam folder out onto my desktop and I still haven't encountered any more problems.

I'm going to say that this is a fix. I haven't had any trouble at all

That is indeed weird. Well, the burning-units-"problems" should kick in within the first few minutes. So you would have noticed, i guess.

I've also had issues with this bug. Did you move the steam or steamapps folder, or both?
Also if you don't mind would you give the full path for the directory where you moved it to in order to get it to work.

Hmmm, ok - maybe just maybe i have an idea. try to move the steam-folder to a really simple one like C:\steamapps or something. No spaces or funny characters in there. Maybe that solves it. Please let us know.

Heres where the steam folder is located, C:\Program Files (x86) look for the steam folder and just move somewhere. I just moved it completely out to my desktop. I'm not to sure if you can just move the game file or not. I would think you couldn't since it steam would not see the game any more. Sorry for the late reply haven't had that much free time

Well looks like that trick isn't working for me or at least the variation that's viable for me to try right now. I tried making a steam/steamapps/common/ directory path on the desktop and moving the game in there but it didn't do the trick and moving my entire steam library isn't much of an option (too many games installed on here, it would take a few days on this old computer most likely). Guess I'll give it another try whenever I get around to getting a new computer. Kind of a shame I never got this to run though, looks like a good game but after 19+ hours of trouble-shooting to get it working and still not being able to play it I think I'm done trying on this computer.

That sucks, bionerd. I mean you could also try to just create a new steam-library (you can have several at once) and reinstall sunage there.

I have the same problem, I reinstalled it and it worked. For a while. Is the copy protection based on internet connection for the digital retail version? because that might explain it.

I have the same problem on a fresh install, suspect this is because either steam have modified the download image enough from the original to trigger the "anticracking" components of the software (quoting the dev above) @v4corg , do you know specifically what the trigger is it seems quite a few people on these forums have had this issue.

Hi guys - I am on that case - I can confirm the problem on my it happens for me too now. Looks like steam changed something and my anticracking thingies doesnt like it. Hopefully can upload and updated version today.

Sorry for that hassle.
