Where is the black bug? I have 11 bugs

You mean, that big rhinocerous beetle? I'm pretty sure he was under one of 3 rocks just as you enter the start of the forest, at day time. You can find 7 bugs at day time, and the other 5 at night. You can tell when when you're close to a hiding bug (hidden under rocks, logs, etc.) when you hear a cricket sound.

There are earthworms under the flagstone in front of the cellar. The critters are located at fixed positions in the forest maze, one batch of them in the day and another batch of them in the night. Start the critter quest in the night after you have rested, then continue the second batch at the flagstone and in the forest maze in the day.
