Wireless PS3 controller supported?

I have a wireless PS3 controller but it doesn't seem to work with this game. I know my controller works because i've played speedrunners with it before

so did you get it to work? logitech wireless is doing the same for me. not working for this game.

This seems to only support 360/xb1 pads if the button prompts are any indication.
You likely need an externat software like 360ce.

nope, it wont work natively, but I am using Joy2Key now to convert the controller input into key presses. That seems to work fine for me.

I used Joy2Key. apparently there are no special keys other than jump and moving?

Have you tried the driver at https://github.com/nefarius/ScpToolkit ?
It installs a driver that makes your PS3 controller operate like an XInput controller.
Game works fine for me except the menu selection jumps two entries on the D-pad.
