Question about Tier 5 Factorys' placement Bonus

is it a bug or is it intended, you have to place Integrators next to a core foundry for 50% bonus. but thats never worth it because the core foundry gets 100% bonus for being all alone. so why would you even want this upgrade?

Doesn't that depend on how many integrators you place around one core foundry? :)

It's a trade: miss out on one +100% core foundry bonus for 8x +50% bonus of the integrators surrounding it. worth it imo.

I mean, who says you can't just have one section for buffing Integrators and another section all to their lonesome to get their buff? If you place the core foundries at a 1:1 ratio of integrator support-no frame touching, it's something like a 50% buff for each foundry.

Just make one foundry with circle of integrators around it. So it works like buffer while you have grid of solo foundries for production.

its still worth it to get the upgrade like others said but personally i dont know why there is a trade off upgrade in what is basically an idle game

Looks intended. You sacrifice 1 introvert to keep 8 extroverts happy. The remaining introverts are not affected and happy alone.

On the first playthrough by Tier 12 I had 6 Integrators built. With final upgrades you only need 4 while waiting for Rocket parts to assemble.

It's one "non-synergistic" thing in the entire game and rather trivial.

You can gain the benefit for 8 integrator factories and only lose the solitary bonus of 1 core foundry. It's very well worth it.
