But the dev has also acknowledged he wants to do more with it, so look for improvements in this area in future developments. Source: roadmap update on steampage
If it follows the same rule as for the first prestige - +50% to cost and +100% to production then it will asymptotically get to 2x without ever reaching it. First levels will be more significant while later levels will barely add anything.
Example (cost:production):
0. 1:1
1. 1.5:2=1:1.33 (if normalized by cost) - 33% increase compared to previous prestige
2. 2:3=1:1.5 or 12.5% increase compared to previous prestige
3. 2.5:4=1:1.6 or 6.7% increase compared to previous prestige
...
10. 6:11=1:1.83
11. 6.5:12=1:1.85 or 0.7% increase compared to previous prestige
...
50. 26:51=1:1.96
Btw, if you reached prestige 5 already do you remember if crafting 6 basic widgets in the beginning consumed 6 or 4 iron ingots? At prestige 1 to craft 2 it requires 2 but I am not sure if it's a rounded up 1.5 or an actual 2. What I mean is the cost to craft items increased by 50% (same as frames and research) or by 100% (same as production)? If it's 50% then efficiency will be much better than what I calculated earlier for higher tier resources because extra production will accumulate at each tier. But I expect it to be 100% so the calculations above should be valid.
I accidentally disassembled the glitched frame trying to inspect it.
I'll probably quit at this point since I don't want to get RSI from mashing crtl+click on buildings to upgrade them anymore and I think there's nothing more to this game. Without giving the promised growth factors catch-free, each play-through is just way too samey and offers nothing new.
Let autoupgrader deal with building new unlocks.
Use copy to create new buildings.
but if you want to launch rockets faster, first one was 10000 then second 11000
On my prestige 3 it's 13453 rocket so i'm not sure what the growth rate is, but it seems to be much slower than 50% production requirement while your rocket parts are still being made at 1+ n prestige
but very true, after couple prestige, what's the point, there's no new mechanics to unlock other than to finish out the 50 rockets and maybe send 10 rockets in one prestige
