I Made A Spreadsheet
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12IgepqB_0mi70y1M9zwnNC-yT2bepCLo-Cx2q4L6e9M/edit?usp=sharing

So, yeah. This is a spreadsheet I made to help calculate how many frames you should build.

You only need to fill in the green cells. The "Manual" column is for inserting the specific number of frames you want. It will then calculate the total number of all frames needed to support that frame in the "Required" column.

The nuclear plant and perpetual engine cells are not green in the "Manual" column because you fill those values at the top of the spreadsheet. Both nuclear and perpetual are difficult to calculate due to "Circular References." Instead, all energy requirements are assigned to the Oil Plant. The number of Oil Plants needed will also appear at the top, in the yellow cell. If you add a value for nuclear and/or perpetual, it will subtract from the required number of Oil Plants. Yes, you'll need to decide the number of nuclear and perpetual plants manually.

The spreadsheet also detects your highest-tiered frame and assumes you've unlocked all the technology for that tier and below. For this reason, do not enter a 0 in any of the green cells. If you want to indicate 0, just delete the cell instead. This is because 0 still registers as a number, which will incorrectly unlock tech up to that frame.

I've also included the three new frames. Adding any of these three will be calculated in the required frames. Adding a recycler will also subtract from the required materials. For the leveler, I’ve done the same, but I'm still not entirely sure how it works. For now, I assume the leveler will randomly generate items of the same or lower tier (@TrevorCraft), including energy and city blocks.

I've tested this on Prestige 0 without city blocks, and it works fine. It should also work on higher prestige levels and with city block productivity calculated, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I like it. FYI, 1x "Omega Launch Facility" can make 1k/s Rocket assemblies. With that in mind thats what I aim for, and having this has helped math alot of that out.

I haven't built enough frames to reach 1k/s rocket parts, but that's what I've heard as well. Since the Omega Launch Facility is the last frame you build, I don't see the need to include its required number, so I just set it as the target rockets per second. I'm glad it helps you.

The spreadsheet unfortunately doesn't work for me, looks pretty solid though!

Is it better to use it through google docs or download and use through excel?

It's originally an excel file. I upload it as google sheet for convenience. It should work either way, Which part doesn't work for you? You can't use it as is, you need to make a copy or download it. Downloading it as excel file would work great.

okay cool I've got a copy downloaded, when i set the rocket parts/s to, in this case 4000 is what i'm looking for, it doesn't fill out any of the required, sections and i just get a #Name? error. I've also filled out the perpetual, nuclear and prestige, anything else i need to fill to get it working, do i need to fill in every manual section?

LOL, you're right. It doesn't work when downloaded as an excel file. You can make a copy of the sheet and use that. Or if you want to keep an offline copy, you can just fix it a bit.

Go to cell Z4 and re-enter the formula. That's it.

The cell is hidden. You can just click and type "Z4" in the Name Box (red circle) and click at the end of the formula box (blue circle), and just hit enter. That should fix it.

What is the Tech Tier sheet

It's a helper sheet. It provide all the techs tier requirements. All the techs when the file was made, the game has been updated and I haven't had the chance to update the spreadsheet.

So, Iron Mine, SPD 1 is 1, means the first speed upgrade for Iron Mine is available from the beginning. PROD 1 is 30, there is no tier 30, 30 only means that the upgrade is not available for that frame, no production upgrade for Iron Mine.
