What is the required momentum for the last main quest?

Can't say for sure, but an educated guess would be in the 140k range based on progression unlocks.

I feel like I'm stuck at 39k. How did you do it? Did you pay for anything? Any tips for me?

until 20-25k you dont need to pay) to move farther you need to craft legendary jewlery, make better equipment, develope shields board and buy shields, and must have both legendary arifacts developed 30-40% one with hiting skils other with protective skills, then you must change ability tree - move all point to boss damage and atack, concentrate active and passive abilities on 1-2 buttons and use only they

Thanks for the tips. What about armor and weapons? What do you think about that? Right now, I have tier 2 rare armor equipped, one or two epic armors at tier 2.

Also, the only legendary artifacts I got are Dark Sister and the Blackwood shield

Tier 5 is minimum for last quest. t2 to t5 gives you significant plus in momentum
