It's also a common theme that The Giant is too hard. I saw one discussion here, where the poster stated "I finally did it", beat him with all 3 of his characters.....all 3 of his characters were 74k and above.....
I destroyed him with my assassin with fire and venom, rest of my build is blood curse and the skill that do bonus damage with a stack of 12 I dont know whats called in english
my equiment was the warrior senting.
Oh and by the way you obviusly dont know how the fight works, you need to put down the shield phase, or you wont do any damage, thats probably why are you dying, I highly recomend you use all ammo at hand when that happens.
The Giant is rated for 49K momentum, at over 60k momentum I should be able to clear the content without relying on strategy.
It makes sense that strategy would be needed for a player that is between 45-50k momentum.
Regardless of whether or not I know the mechanics of the fight or what my gear is, The Giant is still too OP for for the rating he was given.
An advice, if this fights too much for you, I recommend to unninstall, you wont be able to beat carver with power alone
I beat the giant at 61 k and carver at 71 k, if you follow the mechanics youll be able to defeat him, otherwise, youll get your head banged against the wall again and again.
Oh and by the way, those 49k momentum are the recomended, doesnt mean you can easyly kill him
I killed him with blue equipments reforged, equipment does matter, a blue reforged will allways be better than an epic unreforged
alternatively, just play assassin. EZ mode class.
Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate you giving me details rather than just telling me to "gEt GoOd".
I think I know which tea you are talking about, and I think I have used that....but I will need to adjust my Trait Tree, most of my points are in the damage branch.
and I guess I have to change out what I've been wearing for gear. I wearing the Savants gear (cause thats mostly what the game gives for rewards everywere) and I have the Champion as my secondary effect.
Someone in discord (a lot less "get good/play better" responses there, and more actual help and tips) said to use the Duelist and Sentinel together....which means I have to completely remake then reforge my gear...
If still needed.. Put ur passive skills all in Combo II .. U usually can bring it to the last attack.
Active skills i just used poison and "Roundhouse Kick" :D
And look ur jewelery.. Look for +stats in Boss defense.
For me , this game is al about defense... Maybe the fights took a little more time but its much easier to tank some hits
I have the Poison, Roundhouse kick, and the Retreat skills. I actually have some good effects for the retreat on my gear, but maybe I should use the throwing dagger skill for distance...I've got my Combo II upgraded to Corrosion, but I will look at redistributing my skill points to max it out, and maybe my Combo I which allows me to gain a bit of health depending on how much damage I do.
Several pieces of my jewelry has +defense against boss, which is nice...and I just recently moved all my Trait points into defense as you suggested.
I haven't tried again just yet, but hopefully within the next couple of days I will feel like going after him again.......too much of my soul left my body after the last fight.....he had 1 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hit point left....if that....smh
I was also looking at my Artifacts. I'm using Sam the Slayer's Bloody Towel for active, and the fossil dragon claw thing that supports damage against poisoned enemies...I was wondering if I should switch out for one that provides hit-stun immunity or greater defense...
