Asleigh Wakefield is...?

Hi there! Just got this game a few days ago, and I have played it about five times in a row. I came in here to check on tips for an achievement and something caught my atention:

In a lot of posts, people refers to Ashleigh Wakefield as a 'she', but on my game Ashleigh Wakefield is a 'he'. Does 'his/her' gender actually changes according to your choices?

Ash is always either the gender you're attracted to, or the same gender as the person you first kissed. Haven't really delved into the mechanics of that one, will get back to this if I ever bother to.

Interesting tidbit, Wakefield shows up in one of the novels written after this game. And the author is extremely careful to avoid any actual gender reference, since you could have it be either in your mind.

They wanted to keep them as a romance option so as mentioned by Rime their gender changes with your characters preferences

Really? Hmm... Just read Last First Snow so I'm trying to go chronologically. That is cool though.

I read it too! I thought it was great how he managed to avoid giving Ashleigh a particular gender.
