I just keep on picking move options with rook every other time.
Then I win match.
The second time I met him I started with Pawn, copied his first move (Pawn) which apparently broke the rules of chess because this somehow checkmated him. He then complimented me on the usage of my rooks, which I of course never moved, which mildly entertained me.
The rules of Chess on Omek Prime are evidently slightly different. Another example would be how you never actually need to capture any pieces, but simply outmanoeuvre King Killer with all the pieces on the board. (This particular scenario was cooked up when we did a Twitch Stream and had the viewers help create a scenario. They assured me it was an improvement on the regular version of chess.)
Him complimenting you on your rook movement despite you not moving any rooks fixed on my end, it'll be updated soon.
While I was at it, he should also start moving his queen and king now, which resulted in him playing worse games of chess. Still appreciative of proper rook movement.
Okay tried again and won this time after only about five moves. Odd.
Wasn't it the famous Omek Primian chess player Чolle Loпt who said: "In chess, no two games will be alike."?
I tested this and also won right away.
