Don't really know.
I just keep on picking move options with rook every other time.
Then I win match.

I usualy go Knight, Pawn, Rook and I win.

The first time I met him I just spammed random moves for ages. Probably went through about 20 moves. I then decided this was going nowhere and instead tried to just mimic his moves. I then beat him in about 6 turns.

The second time I met him I started with Pawn, copied his first move (Pawn) which apparently broke the rules of chess because this somehow checkmated him. He then complimented me on the usage of my rooks, which I of course never moved, which mildly entertained me.

I got bored with it after many moves and flipped it.

Clearly the rook is the best piece in the game.

The rules of Chess on Omek Prime are evidently slightly different. Another example would be how you never actually need to capture any pieces, but simply outmanoeuvre King Killer with all the pieces on the board. (This particular scenario was cooked up when we did a Twitch Stream and had the viewers help create a scenario. They assured me it was an improvement on the regular version of chess.)

Him complimenting you on your rook movement despite you not moving any rooks fixed on my end, it'll be updated soon.

While I was at it, he should also start moving his queen and king now, which resulted in him playing worse games of chess. Still appreciative of proper rook movement.

rook = win ;-)
Huh, I just pawn rushed him. :Finger2:

I moved the rook about ten times and the game kept going...

Okay tried again and won this time after only about five moves. Odd.

There are two rooks, so depending on which rook your player moves and the stength of the defense of King Killer, the number of moves needed to beat him will vary.

Wasn't it the famous Omek Primian chess player Чolle Loпt who said: "In chess, no two games will be alike."?

I've always tried to play based on what I imagine might be sensible moves in a real game of chess, but Convoy doesn't specify which piece is being moved, or to where, so there's really no point trying to actually simulate chess. As far as I can tell, if you want to beat him you simply don't flip the table and eventually he'll be your friend.
