Skydrive/One Drive/ Cloud Storage

Working On Wifi, Get the All clear Logged in website from Doom and Destiny but Niether on the Cellphone Or the Steam app am I actually able to transfer Saves to the Cloud. Both keep timing out. I can move other files between the devices and my desktop with no issues on my One drive. So it is just with Doom and Destiny connecting to One Drive. this occurs on Both Android and Steam varients.

Tested on Samsung Galaxy s4 Android 5.1.1
Tested on Google Nexus 6 Android M, And Android 5.1.1
Tested on Windows 8.1.1 Steam Client and Windows 10 Steam Clients.

Just to help with what trouble shooting and devices we tried to recreate the issue.

I know this says that the issue has been resolved, but I'm still having a problem getting the cloud storage to work. I'm playing on Android and just trying to transfer the save from my phone to my tablet. After logging into SkyDrive and seeing the "success" page come up, I back out to the game again and I get this message, "We were unable to connect to the cloud service. Please check that you are connected to the internet and that you have completed the login process before returning to the game." I've tried restarting the process using both my home wifi and mobile data, but neither work. Occasionally, I just get a "Login timed out" message instead. Any advice?

have you updated both versions of the game? sometime the update is not automatically downloaded.

Mine is working fine since the patches went in. Make sure you have it updated. some of my friends who were having issues never downloaded the new version.

I'm playing on android 4.4.4 with the full version bougth last week (1.8.1.0)

i just re-installed the game on a fresh install of windows. my previous save from last time isn't there. is that normal?

did you log into the game and restore the save?

it keeps telling me their is a system error when i try to create a account. it doesn't bring anything up when i try and retrieve password, just in case i had made a account previousty. didn't know cloud save was limited to only those that log in. are their any other limiters? any limiters on passwords? going to go look up their site, since cloud saves come with conditions, i am going to need a account, it seems.

edit: sorry getting this mixed up with a issue i had with another game. i didn't know a account was required for steam cloud save. i am logged into steam. what else does this "steam cloud save" require and what does it even do?

ok. i finally found the spot to enabel drop box cloud saves. it is just the steam store page is incorrect. it states that steam cloud saves are supported. they are not. the game uses its own cloud save system.

i will look up the saves and sync them with my own system. once i have found them.

ok. then the part about logging into drop box just confuses it. thanks for looking into it. i've noticed other games having issues with windows 10 as well. those were mostly the game not finding the right "my documents" folder. they assume it is in the users directory. (i have moved the documents folder location to my sync folder sytem. since every game seems to save their. found at least two games are still only saving in the my user folder.) that doesn't seem to be the issue with this one.

this did decide me on adding the steam saves folder to my syncing app. so if it is saved in "\Steam\userdata" then I might have it handled (if the sync system doesn't disagree with the different games save systems. I had one sync app that did.. kept losing progress on a game do to that)
