The glitch flickering makes me feel sick

I dont know if anyone else is experiencing this, but the the glitch flickering that occurs during time warp in the older era games is way too frequent and was almost making me nauseous. I had to stop playing a session because of it.

I like the idea of the glitch effect, but not being able to turn it off and it flickering almost every other second during those moments is just not it. I tried to turn it off, but seems to be unaffected by the vfx options in the settings menu. I also want to say I am not usually sensitive to these kind of glitch effects in games, but dang this was alot.
