More of a documentary than a collection of games
I can already see myself not replaying this much, esp with the long load up of load times of logos and copyright everytime you boot up. What makes tetris great is the pick up and play, start the game and start the next game snap snap snap flow. I guess $30 for a doc is ok (i preordered it on switch), but if i really wanted to watch these i would just yt it, but i wanted to just play tetris. And like many reviewers have already said, the collection is lacking, and that is ironic how copyright licensing bs still affects this game concept to not be at its best to this day.

there are too many similiar versions of tetris, but i really like some of them a lot. i think i`ll definitely play those games a lot, but theres quite a bit missing.

It has been discussed here previously, but this is an interactive documentary where the playable games illustrate key points in history. It's part of the Gold Master Series, and this is the third entry that takes this approach.

At any point, you can go directly to the Game Library with one button and simply play any game you choose, as you can in traditional compilations. If you just want to play Tetris, that's the best way to do it.
