Mall Simulator
How are people getting level 40?
I'm almost to day 600. I've unlocked every single thing in the mall. On a fully stocked day with every store full it's about 350k in sales. It was getting really tedious to do the gold bar method, but is that what I am missing? Or do I just need to camp at the toilets and give them benjamins for toilet paper and gold for soap? Only level 36 right now. I got everything by around level 32. It's the last achievement I need and just not sure what people are doing to get that before even day 200.

I've found in my 5 games thuse far.. level up toilet paper to level 2 license first.. gives a big boost to mall points right from the start.. then work to unlock the food shops.. once unlocked.. place heaps of tables. i normally go for 10 tables for each food shop.
This whole time i'm working on providing atleast 10-15 sales shelves within each shop... and yes you will make more money and get more mall points...

Also as you have said.. the machines also add mall points... Im someone who hates min/maxing this game.. but i ended up doing just that to get all my achievements...

Now i've been finding a way to go half min/max and asthetic in order to make the game more enjoyable.

But no matter which way you play.. its ineveitable you will have the tedious amount of grinding that comes with these types of games.

And just for info sake.. thus far the quickest i have been able to get to level 40 mall points thus far is 93 ingame days.

It really is a long haul game for this achievement.

Hope this helps.

I'm a bit confused though. Where are you placing things? Outside the stores? I have each store maxed out, with some more than others. Like the jewelry store has few items because they need on the huge tables that only sell 5 at a time. I'm on Day 576 and only halfway through level 36. I have had a couple hundred days worth of fully stocked malls and still only here. Just not sure what in particular I am missing.

I also stated I have every single license. I have every single one time purchase done already, I got that done a couple hundred in game days ago.
heres my latest (5th) mall thread that explains it a bit with several images

PS: other than the billboards outside of my mall that you can see.. i have nothing else outside of the mall.

And remember the more sales desks you have.. the more sales you have... I only stock the most expensive in this min/max mall..and only that one type of item.

Can you show me some screenshots?

There are vetrans to this game who might be able to offer advice based on thier experiences

well done on the 5th test , I thought I had done well just a 1/4 of level 39 to go to 40 but its took me 351 days so far and you said your best 93, I have hit the charts 150th. The test with the 10 tables and just 1 item in the store surprised me as did the claw machine, I have around 6 tables but they are never all being used, wish I knew about the optimal amount of claw machines to have, they are a pain to fill but def needed for funds as my stores are not making that much money, do you think having too many items in a store for sale then means lower sales in general? 1 seems too little though
That question has 2 answers..

Min / Maxing... i've tried 5 /10 /15 tables... and found 10 to be the most lucrative... and in order to make it lucrative.. go with the item that sells for the most.. then fill the table.. then 3x storage shelves... you should go through 12 per day meaning you just have to check each day and only waste time restockong 1/3 days.

PS.. the last console in the gaming shop is my best seller... im actually thinking of adding another 5 tables as i seem to sell almost all 36 stored in one day.

Aesthetic.. or decorating.. this is more of a personal choice to make your mall emjoyable to play in.. it only makes about 1/4 to 1/2 the revenue.. but sell every item (using a complete sales shelf)

So i've poerspnally found a mixture of both work really well and is the new goal of my 6th game....

starting with level 2 toilet paper for the kick start on Mallpoints to get locations and stores unlocked so much quicker... just think.. only having the white toilet paper (Level 1) you make 130approx mall points per customer ech time they use the toilet + 130 mall point for using the soap.. totaling 260 mall points per customer per use... now the level 2 toilet paper (pink) and soap (blue) used will get you almost 450 mall points per customer per use.... general sales.. eating only gets around 50 mall points total per sale.

and your game will be spent in the toilets restocking the soap... after all its a whopping 260ish Mall points per use you lose the longer its run out.
Now you can replace the soap and not lose any points IF your quick enough.. but i feel this needs to be rebalanced and you shouldn't lose points if your too slow.. but instead you should lose points if its completely empty after a customer uses the last of it.

anyways.. these important starting points really do seem to set you up.

I stayed with the white paper for too long in my current game but its really an important kick start it seems, I will hit level 40 and have another try and not so many claw machines, thanks and good luck
