OT is nothing like this at all though. OT at least wasn't post disaster anything and was actually in a lot of ways a positive influence showing a working society as limited *as the game was* unlike modern games that want this awful theme. In OT you can choose time eras which will influence where and how you get resources and even the amount of ferries available to use to cross rivers. In fact you don't even have to go to Oregon!
All the games out now pretty much is about shooting/wrecking and a general taste of distain for society not something we need when so many are actually pushing us to this which I won't get into here.
Wouldn't it be funny if as things break down the game increasingly insists you go to 'Discord' to get help. It could be some NPC's or random suggestions that get more and more aggressive the worse your performance is till you see Discord everywhere.
