Just tried Sima Yi after hearing about him and yeah, he's insane

Don't know what the general consensus is on him but in my experience Mitsunari Ishida is VERY strong. Once you've gotten his passives built up he can spam C5 to generate Musou at an ABSURD rate.

Anyone that enables you to get a skill that lets you summon 5 charcters per attack instead of 1 easier. So if you are a Shu chaarcter, get Guan Yu and thee other generals, reduce summon cooldowna nd spam summon Guan Yu, and you will be oneshotting bosses, Zhuge Liang makes it very easy to get 18 charisma and wisdom every run with 50% increased wisdom emblems.

Diaochan with her weapon I don't think it's possibly to fail difficulty 5 with.
