Is Lu Bu part of base game or only Hack n' dash?

It mentions the classic costumes, then it says lu bu is available after tutorial, but this is listed under the dlc?

Having a DLC costume only unlocks the characters that use them early. Everyone can be unlocked through grinding no matter what edition you purchase.

As anon says, base game.

It'll take a few hours to unlock him, but he's there - way off in the corner of the unlock tree.

I got him in just a couple hours, but I made a bee-line towards him almost immediately, with just little detours to pick up a Shu character here or there because I was using Zhao Yun to grind at the time, and he gets +5% attack for every Shu character you recruit during a run, so having them available to ally with was a big help.

After that I played with him, but found that there are stronger characters in this (Heresy! But true, sadly).

Nobunaga for instance is frankly insane. Keiji Maeda is a beast, etc. Game seems to favor the Samurai Warriors characters slightly. But a lot of the Dynasty Warriors characters are still good and strong.

yes costumes are paid dlc characters are unlocked in game
