Crawler Is Better But Still Luck Also Anyone Else Getting Blank Screens

While this patch has improved crawler massively in nightmare mode it is still possible to die to no fault of your own if it spawns close to you (I have been killed by it with Peanut and speed around level 7 from the bottom left of my farm). It has also become common for me to boot the game and it to end up stuck on a completely blank screen of one color forcing me to restart my PC. Has anyone else encountered this?

I would love they add a bit more indicator that crawler is coming or more safe spots than only a house. How often does it spawn?

It spawns the first time at 1:30 and then about every 2 minutes after that but it does vary so give or take but if you're top side of the map and away from the sides at 2 minutes you should be fine.

im getting stun locked by deer and crawler everytime now and i cant leave house and shadows from under the bed is killing me... this mode sux, too much randomness with crow drops as well. I went full whole day without a single coin on nightmere.

I used a timer on my mobile phone against crowler. Its about evey 2 min, it helps a lot.

There's a timer in game now, you have to start nightmare mode first then go to setting and you can select it on. Should stay on by default after that.

I've actually been able to stall out the crawler by running around the farm plots (yes I didn't unlock them) turns out if you manage to keep your distance for long enough they'll just flat out leave. I've only managed to do it twice, but the fact that I was able to do it at all, and by accident no less, proves that there IS a hidden strat there just waiting to be dissected and studied.
