What if you set a registry variable in some obscure place that noone could find out?
Also, it's possible to get trapped in the room where the cake is found by activating a blue field thing if you shoot both portals in the room with the blue field thing. Since the cube is pressing the button outside, there is no way to open both doors again.
Damn. So in order to get the achievement, do I have to start from the very beginning or from Chamber 11 (where the first cake is)? Cheers
You can start from chamber 11.
Can't you just walk through the fizzler next to the pair of doors?
Although to be honest I was concentrating on getting the cake and not completing the chamber, so I switched off after finding it.
Also, what's wrong with eating cake on the floor? It does have that yellow plate after all :P
