Google translate says something about FC being out of money and the studio suspending operations...

Edit : Just so nobody freaks out before they read the article, it does say they are planning on continuing to support JA:F and SH:A.

Via a free online translation page. So not a perfect translation:

"Space Hulk Ascension is the last production studios Full Control.

This Danish company officially ceases to create video games and maintain only a skeleton crew, whose task will be to support the current games under the sign of the studio.

Yet at the end of 2012 it seemed that the team Full Control await only the good times. The company announced then that will be responsible for the adaptation of Space Hulk computer, and when in mid-2013 successfully completed their kickstaterowa collection with a new installment of Jagged Alliance seemed to have the world in front of them.

Unfortunately, not udźwignęło Full Control Storage expectations for any of these games and at the end of last year had to slow down to 25 people, after a Jagged Alliance Flashback disaster turned out to be commercial. The study has not helped rescue also improved edition of Space Hulk, Space Hulk Ascension, which, interestingly, is really very good reviews on Steam. It is a pity that the Space Hulk was once such a game.

The cause of the fall of the study is, therefore, simply a lack of money. Your budget ends next month, and she is a loan granted to them by their former investor. For this reason, the head of the Full Control, Thomas Hentschel Lund, decided to suspend the activities of the studio. In her office is only a small group of people, whose task will be to support the company's games are currently available on the market."

Well. And another great company has problems after making such good game as SHA. Something is wrong with this world.

That's really unfortuante, but such is the nature of business. ;/

It was nice to imagine, if only for a brief while, FC and the Space Hulk games inside a protected bubble were they could simply keep doing wthat they and we love, but now reality has firmy reasserted itself.

Now I'm looking forward to what's still to come for Ascension, and I'm grateful. for all the good times I've already had with both Space Hulks.

Really sad, but they deserve a lot of respect for closing down before hitting bankruptcy. This avoids the domino effect of putting their suppliers into financial pain, etc ...

I've been away. Very sad to hear. I hate to think that Jagged Alliance Flashback doing poorly ultimately dragged down Space Hulk/Space Hulk Ascension with it (if I'm reading this news correctly).

Saddening news. Makes the Ascension even more precious now... I understand it means that we won't see Deathwing after all.
