Rune Priests
Devs finaly named them right. Now... if only they had a proper runic weapons. Also i would like to see some staves for all Librarians, it is for all means and purposes their iconic weapon.
Now, back to our rune priests. They have like 2 unique powers? Their basic one is the one that every other Librarians have only renamed. Give them something to deny ground. "Temptest's Wrath" or "Jaws of the World Wolf" adaptated for this game. Or "Fury of the Wolf Spirits" if you want an emphasis on their more agressive role.
Opinions?

Im playing as space wolves right now, played a mission as salamander, but loving the spacewolves lore quickly redirected to them. I agree kudos on naming them right, would of been a deal breaker for me. I don't have much beef over the weapons. Most of the time i read of librarians they usually are wielding a force axe or sword. I don't recall them ever using staves, i could be wrong though.
I also agree it is stated many times the space wolves use a "different" type of magic. ALthough we all know its the warp, it manifests through the rune priest differently. SO yes they should have there own spells. Just like the salamanders librarians spells should be fire based. Im sure the lack of these things really just stems from having a small team. Things take time and man power.

Hmm. Books are going fo the wow! effect most of the time i guess. For all i know Librarians are depicted with force staves on pictures most of the time. Plus 2 of the 4 most badass librarians in the Wh40k use staves: Chief Librarian Varro Tigurius and Chief Rune Priest Njal Stormcaller,

Rune priests are useful enough, there's no need for wolf-flavoured powercreep.
Besides, if you want to absolutely min/max your playthrough, you're not playing SW anyways.

SW are interesting because of their pecularities and character, if anything, constantly attempting to have them be made superior to (all) other SM actually detracts from their appeal.

They should probably have a 2nd face/portrait, since you can field two of them and they're currently 100% identical clone; and so shoud the Salamanders' Librarians, but that's about it.

No you can keep as as they are. You want an agressive rune priest who kill rather then control? You can do just that. In fact i will prefer them that way. My problem is - they got only 2 psychic power of their own, while other librarians have at least 3. Rune of Command is basicaly a renamed Prescience. Give them at least one more power, i am not asking that much. And making a proper skins for runic weapons is also welcomed.
It is as if... dunno... they were made without a proper love.
Also staves for my librarians. Yes-yes, i know...
And while we are at it, make a head with wild red hair and beard for my rune priest. I will give him a stave and call him Njal.

Um... Staves are definitely not the "iconic" weapon of Librarians. I have nine different Librarian models from Games Workshop that i have collected over the years, and only one uses a Force Staff. Five of them use Force Swords, including the original lead Librarian Terminator that I bought back in 1989.

My two Rune Priests (one normal, one Terminator) use Force Axes which have a few runes adorning them, but also have the detailing of the other Force weapons.

He is correct. Librarians, specifically the Rune Priests, were always in favor of rune weapons of their chapter. Axesand blades are the tools of the Wolves. I can think of few "Librarians", outside of the Pre-Heresy Thousand Sons, who preferred staves.
