Thunder Hammer Crusher, and Shield Pavise

The description on the Crusher thunder hammer says it is balanced towards defense, but the hammer only gets an attack bonus of 20, while the shield gets a defense bonus of 25. As far as I can tell, all the hammers have the same stats, an attack bonus of 20, but the Storm Shield pavise gives the worst defense bonus, all the other shields give 30 defense, and the defense lightning claws beat out the storm shield by giving a 35 defense bonus. Are the stats wrong, or is this an oversight?

That TH/SS combo is balanced towards defence. At least when comparing it to the other two TH/SS combos.

The stats are wrong. My guide "Miscellaneous Reference" lists correct stats read from game files. See section "Melee Weapons".
