I try getting upgrades to Bolters such that they heat up less, improved killing power, larger clip, etc
Death to the Xenos,

When you get those, it's both a disappointment and an opportunity -- you can try playstyles that'd get you killed normally. There is something to be said about being able to be less careful with ammo or aiming in an effort to provide continuing glory to the Emperor. It is almost as if he is guiding each bullet, if but for a brief time!
Those are the msisions when you bring in the weaker squad you have, to try to get them to catch up so they are more useful for when you really need them capable of holding their own.
+ 20 % ranged bonus during next mission: A good opportunity to rest your first team.
+ 20 % melee bonus during next mission: Use for fun. Four Terminators with TH/SS. Not exactly viable under normal circumstances.
The +10 % to 60 % experience bonus is for the current mission. Not the next.
