Ostheer OP?

Me and a friend played a lot of Eastern Front the last weeks and I pretty much always played the soviets because I liked them as a nation. He did always pick the Ostheer and explained to me that they can easier deal with the soviets and that the Wehrmacht would struggle against them.
Well, before I continue I have to say that Im really not a good player and my friend has much more experience than me so I always trusted him on that point and I didnt even know the Vanilla game. I always just played Eastern Front and pretty much played nothing but the Soviets and the Americans but today we played some matches again and I pointed out that I really think I cannot do anything against him early game. I always need 2 Recruits for 1 of his "Landser", we both can build them after the first building BUT he can build then as regular infantry and I need to get them with this perk thing that needs like one minute before I can use it again. So he can build much more of them then I can, plus that I need double the amount of Infantry to beat him with these recruits. After the first fights he can also quickly get to the Hungarian Division and get the arty perk on the left side with 2 points. By that point he pretty much always got all ammunition points already and has enough of that to use this artillery. Every time I attack a point of him (of which he now got way more then me) he now just uses this artillery to kill my capturing infantry. (This artillery is so quick that I often simply cannot react to it, plus it only sometimes show's the smoke where it will hit. Sometimes the smokes does not even show up and I have to look at the map for me to notice it. The second option would of course be to cap 2 points at the same time but even if I would have enough infantry for that he can simply put all of his Infantry to one point to defend it and defend the other one with the arty, it hits so fast and so strong that even if move my infantry away the second the message apears it will still takes loses. Anyway by the time I got some tanks that can withstand this arty he already got so much resources that I dont got a chance anymore, doesnt matter what I do. By this time he got at least twice of the number of tanks that I have and even if I threaten him with tanks he also got an extremly good Ju88 bombing wich can destroy multiple tanks at once. Short info: We did always play on Duclair.

Anyway he offered me to play the soviets one round and he would look for something I was doing wrong so he could do me some tips. I played the Ostheer that round (Again on Duclair) and wasnt expecting to win because I did not even once beat anyone of my friends in this game even once. As I said, Im a total noob. But I really made it and crushed him into the ground that I for a second thought he would not play serious. I just did build Landsers caped the best ammo points and everything other I could. I got to the Hungarian Arty as fast as I could and he was not able to cap anything anymore. By the time he prepared a second attack my arty was already loaded again and the ammuntion was also not problem because I was getting it soo ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fast because of all my points. His better infantry that can defeat my Landser 1vs1 came way to late because he could only build them with the third building and as he finally get his tanks I already had more of them and also researched the Ju88 bombing attack long ago. Anyway, he really was not able to defeat me as a total noob just because of the Ostheer and it even was my First time playing them. My friend always that that arty may be strong but it would cost so much that it was fair but after that match he too said this was a bit unfair.

I currently don't have the time to make a complete answer. But one thing, could you save the replays of the games you played?

One thing that's true is that Soviets have a very slight disadvantage at the moment, but it's pretty minor. Panzer Elite have a bigger advantage over Soviets than Ostheer.
