Eagle Beak has Company of Heroes: Eastern Front

"Host of the game is using a different version"

I am unable to play multiplayer with a friend.

Each time we try to join the other's match we receive the error "Host of the game is using a different version". We have both verified our file integrity. We are both running the same version of the mod and the game.

Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone have a fix?

It seems some single file's date\time was maybe modified by antivirus.
BTW try playing multiplayers with some other players. Most likely the one who can't even see games vs AI being hosted by other players has the problem and need maybe complete reinstall. or delete files inside game folder and recheck local files will make steam reload them.

Thanks for the advice. If you're correct, then it is his files that are messed up. However, he did complete a total reinstall and the problem persists.

delete all folders of the game. reinstall. it will work.
