Number of Levels
This game is basically quite nice, but in the end it started to piss me off. Cog wheel's hitbox too big, small bars are too small, so you think you land on them, but game thinks that you should slip down, with them going out of player view so you cant properly target your jump it makes hundreds of reloads. Guy could have had climb ability after all. And quite too much of such leaps of faith, when you don't see where you have to go, only believe that this should be right direction.

And in the end, arcade that seemed to be nice and smart like Quantum Conundrum 2D turns into primitive instinctive scroller, because you die too often, so you stop thinking and just do learned tricks in hope that this time I won't miss this fkn bar, and this is the last level of the game...

So, right now I'm at the level, where you shoud bring down some rock from yellow chain, then jump up to the car on left and green crown on right. After that you overjump uncolored cerberus, on the other block - three uncolored plants, then jump up by big vertical bars to yellow chainsaw wall, overjump to 4 small bar with blue crown (| | | |). Here I stuck because of bars are too small to get on them by doublejump of faith.

How much level are left till the end from my point? I need to decide if I continue or abandon this game.

Finally, I've made this level, where with latest patch this trouble making smallbars were simply removed.

But only to met next level, where you have several "leaps of faith" - first one maximum of double jump, where sometimes glitch with being stuck in flying island side saves you from falling, and then three double jumps into green darkness from green bars, each of them is easily ended up with finding yourself telefragged into bar you needed to jump on.

So, these are four deadly double-jumps in a row. Level designers, do you test your levels in a godmode or something? If not, then have anyone except you played these levels? There is no place for mistake, to repeat failed jump, everytime you have to restart level. This is miserable.

But how much levels are left - is the end near? :)

For a game that relies heavily on jumping puzzles, the jumping movement is terrible to say the least. Hit something and you drop like it is an early Castlevania. Falling is painfully slow, so much even that you will miss a platform because your character takes ages to get down.

But the game has worse problems. Apart from the countless leaps of faith you have to perform that make the game an excersize in trial and error, glitches are everywhere. Every now and then you fall through solid ground for no reason. Animals are suddenly on me when I switch colors. How does this happen? Did this game get tested at all? And what is up with the metal-esque soundtrack? It totally does not fit the game in any way.

But you might come with the argument "But Nidair, this is a free game. You cannot expect anything from it." And why not? Take for example Shift and its sequels.Free games full of jumping puzzles that are way better than this. Color Symphony's developers could have taken their movement mechanics and immediately have a way better game. Once again, Steam accepts junk and presents it as jewelry.

I know it's late response, but: there are 50 levels and you can check your current, by switching into window mode [alt+enter].

If you go to windowed mode, you see in the top left corner what stage you're on. There are 50 levels (or stages)
