What does the V button do?

Hi

Simple enough, what does it do? Does it remove the colours with a time delay? Just stuck on one level with a few wheels in the air (I know, doesn't help), there is a car at the bottom etc. I jump up, and then apart from something above me that I remove or I keep banging my head on it, can't see what else to do, as all (ZXC) doesn't bring anything above me.

I feel like that may be one I had trouble with and if I remember correctly, required going somewhere I didn't expect I could go... I can't remember if it was the one where I had to go up a back way, carefully maneuver through narrow killing obstacles, or make a difficult long jump. But I feel like once I found the solution, it was a matter of trying over and over until I succeeded. Or it maybe could have been the one with the barely visible skinny lines that took me a long time to register were not part of the background because they had to be landed on in just the right way. xD I don't know if any of that may help...

Not sure if it was either of those, but finally did it after losing my mind. Involved double jumping whilst removing using green, and then switching to yellow, so the green platform appeared again. Drove me mad, 20 mins on just one level. Either way, I'm onto the next part (wish I could show a sceenie) so who knows how long it will be until I check into the hospital lol.

Oh, yes, that was the one. ^D^ It drove me pretty mad too. @_@
