I believe you at least owe an apology to the original artists, let alone money were already made from before using their artworks until it has bitten you back.
The damage has been done.
Replacing all assets (yet to be proven) maybe fixes your problem with Valve (Steam), but there's more to it, and you know it perfectly.
Silently deleting forum topics and banning users only shows everything was done on purpose.
Please stop maliciously commenting misinformation. You're referring to an issue that is outdated. Making a new Steam account to circumvent your community ban just proves your malice. Consider this your warning. Please stop spreading malicious misinformation.
I'm sorry for saying this but I already saw them apologised on their twitter already though? Yeah it's not a great apology but it still an apology right?
I dunno man I'm so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tired ;-;
I know he made mistakes but aren't you being a little too aggressive right now?... Don't get me wrong! I just want everyone to sort things peacefully if that's possible
But think carefully about who you ban
you got a link to said apology? like overall it's hard to trust anything that can be said from the dev given what little was shown(having people ask to remove their art for example instead of doing it themselves), and while this isn't on the dev themselves, having people in their discord/fandom call someone else's art trash
in terms of "spreading" malicious information, a lot of it can be easily solved if the dev themselves actually showed some kind of proof, like a link to twitter post or something.
I get that the other topic along with the tweets were back in December 2024(around 3 months as of this comment), that's still 3 months of the dev not addressing anything until now on steam.
either way, like what the other user said, it's really hard to trust anything that can be said from the dev in general. I'm not even trying to be malicious here, it's just hard to take things at word without some kind of proof backing up their claims, and I don't use twitter/X often, but trying to dig through their profile to find anything related is hard to do when a lot of it are retweets of art.
But also you shouldn't just assume things too no offense though please don't take this the wrong way!
But I think he doesn't meant any harm
my advice
leave only your message, clear the rest and close this pinned thread
saying this doesn't have "inspirations" is enough clarification
fan parody vs product is tricky from what I read and Steam forums will always be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Steam forums are stupid indeed
