Isabella endings for Max?

(SPOILERS AHEAD)



I've gotten 2 different endings for Isabella so far:

1) First time I missed the 600+ mark, and got the "locked door" event. The couple broke up after 2 years
2) Second time I hit the 600+ mark (100/314/208) and got the "private play" event. The couple still broke up after 2 years

Is there any secret to getting a different, better ending with Isabella?

you need 600 < spontanous + Active. to get the best end. It doesn't count any stats except for those two. also My grades were better too so that might of been it not sure. I don't think grades matter for that ending tho.

I had the required spontaneous and active, hence the "private play" ending. Still they break up after 2 years.

Sorry I know this is a bit of a necro but I saw the topic and thought I'd throw a thought around. Are you sure that ISN'T the best ending for them? As somewhat disheartening as it can be WW is known for making VN that are a bit more "realistic" in terms of relationships, that is to say you don't get a lot of "happily ever after" Disney endings in WW's novels. They tend to be more like "we know this might not be love forever but we're going to try" or alternatively "in the end things didn't work out but this was an important turning point in our lives that deserves telling", there have been several like that.

Of course maybe that isn't the case. I completed AnnexIsabella and they ALSO break up after two years, however in what I'm assuming is their best ending they have a chance meeting many years later and get back together, ostensibly for good. So maybe Max has the same sort of turn around if you hit some limit, but it's entirely possible that is his best end and WW just decided that those two didn't fit each other for a life long relationship.

Sorry for bringing back your post so long after without any real information on how to possibly get a better ending. But when I was reading this I was just thinking, "It would be just like WW to put an ending in where it's not a fairytale ending" given some of their past stuff.
