Ive Been trying to get my hands on a copy of this game i used to play it when i was kid and whatever store i go to even retro gaming stores still dont sell pc games cause "steam took over" so the release of this game here on steam is pretty much my only way to play a game i loved for so long

I think I know why it's taking so long for this game to release! You see, Backyard Baseball was released on October 10, 2024, with Backyard Soccer releasing on November 27, over a month later; eight days before the latter's release, the team announced their plans to port the games to mobile devices as well. My guess is that they've been developing the port for Backyard Baseball and one for Backyard Soccer (probably) simultaneously with Backyard Football and decided to release mobile ports for the games already released before devoting their full attention to the other games. Backyard Baseball's mobile port will be coming on the 27th of this month so I think that Soccer will follow soon after and maybe then Backyard Football?
