Dante robinson delay swing

ive played for quite awhile many of my players are doing really well. but i am having a difficult time with dante swing, its delayed to even if i press the button early he still misses. to be fair he could have one of those difficult swings like other batters, one would be vicky sorta and Keisha from what i hear. but on rare occasions i can get him to swing and hit the ball other times he just misses even if i press early.

If you're missing, that means the ball isn't actually inside the strike zone.

nahhh ive played this some of the strikezone yea i get but he has a big delay before he swings lots of the pitches are in the strikezone and he whiffs late

All of the characters have different swing timers. Some of them (at least, to my eye) don't match the animation very well. I've played with a couple kids that when you finally figure out their swing timer, it's a moment of huge disbelief (Vicki, for one; you gotta get waaaaay out in front of that thing). Just have Clanky serve you slowballs until you figure Dante out.

Playing on easy with Dante will give you a great idea of whats wrong with the timing. On easy, players wait to swing until the right moment even if you click early. Dante literally cannot hit a single pitch no matter where it is in the strike box. He swings late every single time.

Did some batting practice with Dante. His swing is very awkward, and even more delayed than Keisha, but it's still not that difficult to get the hang of. The gap between the swing sound effect and actually hitting the ball is about twice as long, which isn't very big in the grand scheme of things, but it's certainly noticable.
