Also fun fact, once you get the Aluminum Power power up, save your game. If you don't get 600 feet, just reload the save and try again and you can just do it over and over again until you get it. Then when you get it, finish the game from that point and it will pop.
In other words, I should forget about doing it in single game and just create a new league play team.
Strike outs would be easy as well. Wait til you got heat since even normal cpu don't ever hit it and just save at 2 strikes than load as required.
Wait, that last sentence - what? Who else has hidden boosts, all the obvious people? I thought all that sibling stuff was just fluff.
Amir gets better batting and running but worse pitching when he's on the same team as Achmed.
Angela and Tony basically nearly maxed out players when they're on opposing teams.
Ashley and Sidney get better batting and maxed out fielding when they're together.
Ernie Steele and Kimmy Eckman get a big boost if they play on Steele Stadium or Eckman Acres respectively.
Maria becomes literally the best character in the game if her team color is Pink.
Marky gets various boosts if he's on a team with Billy Jean (who becomes awful as a result) and/or if he's going against the Sox or Socks. If he's on the Sox or Socks team, he becomes worse.
Sally gets ridiculous boosts if she's on the same team as Ronny, but Ronny loses all of his stats.
Beyond that, every kid gets a boost on their respective birthday, and kids can randomly have Hot/Cold days which you can only see with cheat engine to look at stats.
There are more of these in later games where pros are thrown into the mix, but that's information for later.
Aside, to answer OP, Tin Can Alley. No, seriously. The homer that gets you Tin Can Takedown is pretty much required to be a > 600 footer. Not really much point trying to farm the 600 footer if you're already going to get it from doing another achievement.
But you're going to be going after that achievement anyway (I assume, since we're already talking about farming another achievement). May as well try to optimize your time.
