Can you get the WAD from this game?

There really aren't too many source ports that support Strife at the moment. Just Chocolate Strife (what this game is based on) and ZDoom as far as I know. Support for the new content is still being worked on in ZDoom. Unfortunately, the expansion WAD can't be used with ZDoom yet, as the DECALDEF file uses a different format than ZDoom's.

You can still use the base IWAD to play mods with ZDoom, though there aren't too many out there. Strife: Absolute Order is the only one I can recommend.

GZDoom also supports it, but its bugged, but I dont know if the ZDoom version shares those bugs, don't think so, Zandronum also supports strife the ancient skulltag also supports it.

Hmm when I get this might just stick with what I get out of the box then. At least its playable out of the box... unlike the other games on the doom engine on steam.. damn unoptimised dosbox configs

Doesnt help they still use 0.73, I have personally run into no issues using ZDoom with Strife.

Yeah to optimise the DosBox for all the other games is literally a 5 minute job for each game its amazing that the publishers didn't do it.

Vavoom supports it (and supported Strife prior to Zdoom) and Svstrife supports it too :(

The games off gog.com that use dosbox seem to be very well optimized, they appear to put in a little more effort.
