Games to Play on Any Day was the last spin-off game of the Pajama Sam franchise. While the other spin-off games dealt with a linear game format, this one is a choose your own mini game scenario. All of the games are basic board game style games with either Sam or one of the characters from the first three games hosting them. Some of the games are fun to try out while others are a little hard to beat depending on the difficulty level you choose. This is once again another spin-off game to help entertain anyone who's bored. And the only reason to play it is that its a Pajama Sam game and you can never go wrong with a game featuring him as the main protagnogist.

Definately keeps my kids entertained any day of the week.

Honestly any of the legendary Pajama Sam games are worth buying, installing and playing. Pamela Adlons voice acting is fluent and excellent. Thought provoking, moving and heart touching. My life was touched as a child and I hope yours was too. Well, I mean obviously it was that’s why you’re here reading my review. I honestly have no idea what to say, so im just going to copy and paste some other reviews and say it’s mine.

Pajama Sam put on his glorious red cape, and ran under his bed to find lost goods. After arriving under his bed, they were suddenly in a river. Sam leapt onto a boat, and then a wonderful German voice greeted me. After this point, my 32-core, 50 TB computer with 24 GTX 780 Ti's with Liquid Nitrogen cooling seemed to be having a panic. Weird sounds began to spew out, and then... BANG. My computer exploded, caught fire, and died. It had seemed like Pajama Sam had destroyed my computer with its sheer minimal requirements. I still know the glory of Pajama Sam today.

I didn't expect much of this, seeing as the other spin-off titles are so lame, but I'm actually really enjoying myself. Apart from the fact that the game crashes whenever I try to play Happy Fun Squares on hard.

This is one of the Pajama Sam games I never had when I was little. I owned, and played, 1-4 but my mom never got me any of the minigames. Picked this up on Humble Bundle, finally got into trying it today, and quite frankly I'm very glad to have it.

From a nostalgia angle, it hits the spot despite never having played it when I was growing up. I find myself able to put myself into the situation and imagine that I'm actually playing with these characters, and I think I would have enjoyed the fact that they respond and comment on your moves just as well when I was a child. (Really feels like Carrot respects me as a player. :P)
Beyond the occasional moment where Sam looks at the camera or says something directly to the player, one doesn't get to interact directly with him in the adventure games - in this one, you're actually able to play a few of the games with him.

From a tech angle, ScummVM runs it well on my computer. I've encountered a few glitches but certainly nothing game-breaking (a little transparency in a puzzle piece that shouldn't have been there, for instance).

All in all, I'd rather pick this up and play a game of Goody Goody Gumdrops than try to find an AI-equipped Othello game online or code one, and I certainly like Fans and Teleporters better than boring ol' Chutes and Ladders. Solid recommend.
