Hi,

after 6 updates i've fixed a number of minor issues, and introduced a nice feature (scanlines).
In case you find more issues feel free to post here. The game will be supported as long as you need it ;)

Hi, I'm having an issue with the "Master of Collectables" achievement. I have the 20 hearts and 10 weapons, but I didn't get that achievement. Is there more to it than maxing those items out?

It should unlock. Do you have the automatic update ON? one of the first patches was related to this.

Heyya! I keep crashing at the wasp boss! any ideas?
*Edit* Got through him - crashed a few more times, it seemed triggered when I would kill a smaller wasp, including once when the game crashed when I killed the boss, and all his minions died! (NOOOOO!!!) Anyhow - all good. Love the game man - enjoying it very much!

I've run into two problems: 1) There is a lot of screen-tearing, and I can't figure out how to turn on V-Sync. 2) A couple times I've had parts of the screen stop rendering properly, like if there was a slight corruption on an NES game; this, however, resolved itself quickly. I just wanted to report it.

I have a problem. First of all you don't have any built in PC controller controlls. Trying to force me to use the keyboard only. Not a fan of that. So I tried using Pinnacle but when I get into the game it messes with my controlls and I can't find a single buttion for the Bow. What is up with this?

The game plays fine if you use the 360 controller. If you don't have one, there are lots of programs out there that mimic 360 controllers.

Pinnacle does that too. Still doesn't work. Still needs to be fixed. I refuse to play with a keyboard. They just don't work with retro games like this.

Actually I think I might know what the problem is. Who ever posted the Controls in the Steam guide, got them wrong. So the question is, what are the keyboard controls?

I am having a problem with controls. This is the only game out of my 500+ games that my up arrow on my keyboard does not work...Also every game that supports the 360 pad also supports the Xbox One pad, my gamepad does not work with The Waste Land, and I'm not sure why since its a Xbox One pad.

My apologies, the guide was made based on a pre-release version of the game and was not updated to reflect the final version. I have updated the guide with the proper controls, which I have pasted for you below as well.

KEYBOARD

• LEFT ARROW – Move Left
  
• RIGHT ARROW – Move Right
  
• DOWN ARROW – Crouch
  
• UP ARROW – Talk/Enter Doorways/Save
  
• C – Jump
  
• V – Bow & Arrow (hold to shoot further/trigger arrow effects)
  
• X – Sword Attack (Press C then hold DOWN in air for Down Thrust)
  
• M – Open/Close Map
  
• P – Pause Menu (Weapon Select, Heart Collection, Quit, etc)
  
• ESC – Main Menu: Quit Game | In-Game: Pause Menu (Weapon Select, Heart Collection, Main Menu, etc)
  
• F4 - Window Mode (Minimize game screen into a Window)

Thanks for the update.

Sadly even after getting a new controller for Christmas. Still neither of them are willing to work with this game. Seriously are the devs even looking at this? Shouldn't controller support be an obvious thing for a "retro" style game? Keyboards seriously aren't ment for this. I really feel ripped off on this game now. I mean for crying out loud I shouldn't even have to need Pinnacle to make a game like this run. Controllers have been a normal thing for PC since the bleeding 90's.

I haven't played that game for the while and the last time i played i only played a little more than the intro.
Since then a few updates have been pushed wich is good.
What is less good is with them there seems to have come a bug in wich the game fails to detect my audiodevice.

The loading banner comes up and ca. 5/6th of the way of the loading bar it says: "No sound device detected. Sound might not play." Wich it doesn't.
The last time i have played i didn't have any problems with that.
I tried the several options i have avaiable for sound but none can be detected by the game.

Well when i try to let someone watch me thru steam it dose not work they only get sound

I'm having a keyboard input issue - the up key doesn't work. I'm playing on a laptop, windows 10, external USB keyboard exhibits same behaviour. ?
