New Fighter Requests/Suggestions: OFFICIAL THREAD

To try and help organize the forums better I am creating this official thread for everyone to post their suggestions of their favorite martial arts stars for future stuntmen to be crafted around.

I will start melding previous suggestions into here so we have one place to reference. So far there have been some great suggestions - keep em' coming!

Has anyone said Clint Eastwood or John Wayne yet?

I'd like to see one cowboy (Spagetti westerns were our kung fu movies) with a "Balrog" type design, 3 punches maybe one weak kick, always smoking a cigarette.

Hell you could call him John Eastwood or Clint Wayne.

(Like Balrog though, this character should be very difficult to use properly. I know Chuck Norris and Charles Bronson have been brought up, but they can actually kick. Like the grappler request, which I +1 I like to have one "Puncher" in a game.

I can't believe through all these pages that there isn't any love for Sonny Chiba. I think he was next best thing after the untimely death of Bruce Lee. Sonny Chiba always had such a rough, cocky, badass way of fighting ( quite reminiscent of the legend ) and did it with such style, it would translate well to a game character, always spitting and giving cheapshots, plus he always make such original sounds almost like he's choking, but it's well intimidating lol.

Hope to see him appear in this game, wink wink lol. Love the game anyway and look forward to future updates. Nice1

Ahhhh yeah, that's what i like to see. Loving the suspense of not knowing the extra characters that could get added tho. Doing a good job keeping your lips sealed lol. Just wanted to say the level designs are amazing seriously, just so much movie nostalgia it's awesome. Will each new character come with their own movie inspired level also? I hope so that would be mint. Nice1

@Jae Lee,@johnkaiser3: gentlemen, i have a few voice snippets i'd like to submit to audition for some mandarin voiceover work. the qulaity is probably so-so(at least to me), but i played them thru my TV to hear how they might sound if they were to be utilized in KoKF, and "i" don't think they sound too bad. they've been denoised so only my voice comes thru.

if you gentlemen are interested(@johnkaiser3, i know u said u don't really have any control over what Jae chooses to do with the game), then please let me know, and let me know how i might go about submitting them.

I'm not looking for recompense for these and the copyright would be Jae's. i'm only looking for a foot in the door for some voice acting(and obviously my name in the credits would be a bonus :) ). And even if you decided not to use them or have me do any voice over work, that you took the time and consideration would be enough.

If you do end up with an american character, I'm a voice actor too (that can do my own recording) and would also be willing to send you an audition reel. I'm a longtime audio drama actor/creator, so I have a microphone and audio software and stuff. Would also work for free/give up rights, just enjoying the project.
