Resolution Upgrade Patch?
SO! I recently learned this STEAM version is 640x480 resolution, bumped up from the original game's size of 320x240 resolution. Here's my two questions..

1. What made the devs think that 640x480 was the best resolution option for people with this STEAM release? cos this game looks real bad full screen, you are forcing people to play it in it's native size, not to mention i read in another post THIS version is a remake.

2. Will you ever do a patch for higher resolutions?

Just a thought here, have you tried converting this rpg maker 2000 project to rpg maker vx/mv ace? you can have higher resolutions in that rpg maker. It CAN be done.. i've seen it done with other RM2K games.

Came here wondering the same. This game looks BAD...really bad. It's amazing how outdated this is, even when it launched.

Old topic, but... The game resolution is standard for RPG Maker 2000/2003. F5 will switch between 320x240 and 640x480, in both windowed and fullscreen modes. It's not specific to the game.
And no, the game cannot be "converted" to RPG Maker VX/Ace or MV. Only MV and newer support higher resolutions, and porting RPG Maker games between versions is not a trivial task. There is no "import the things into the new engine and export the game". It would need to be remade from the ground up in the new engine.
If you need better resolution support, I believe there is an opensource RPG Maker engine called EasyRPG that may have more scaling options. But, I haven't tried it.
thanks for necro-posting.. !!

Well it's good info, even if it's years later. It's bound to help someone!
