Bug: Spring Games "Fails" upon Winning.
For some odd reason... I cannot proceed past the Spring Games. I go into the battle with my best fighters, and then I win. However, after clearing all the enemies, it goes directly into the victory animation.... I never get the option to spare or kill the enemy, it proceeds to show the victory screen where I can return home....

Then, when it returns home a day passes and it proceeds to go to a screen as though I had failed to win the games, with "Nameless Master" up top and a "Quest:Main goalsfailed" in the top center, explaining how I couldn't win the championship and offers me to return to the main menu, or load.

I'm at my wits end here, because... I've tried winning the fight in different ways, but no dice - it always fails afterward. I'll load an earlier save, but then, rather than getting the reminder to go to the Spring Games, it just instantly fails me on the day of it.

OK, that's a game breaking bug. Jump onto the Discord and report there for the Devs to see it faster.

And did you get the option for taking on the Bonus Round?

Definitely game-breaking.

However, I did a new game, and got to the same point, and noticed something odd. For -some- reason... the 'games' it was having me do was like any other "challenge the champions" fight. It wasn't the actual spring games. The other new game I did... I had no issue with it whatsoever. It was a multiround tournament like it was supposed to be, and of course, I was given the option for the bonus round.

I've no idea why it did what it did on my initial playthrough.
I think it's likely that the game did a call to the wrong tournament type. The way coding works is that you have a link from one part of the code to another, and that brings the other part of the program into operation. So, if there was a typo in the game code (man made or file corruption) then it would call a different file. For the spring games, there are not supposed to be any Unique gladiators (except maybe for the monks), also known as Champions, If there were champions present, then it's likely the game called on the wrong tournament format, and resolving the games left the flag for Success = False, causing you to lose the game.

Interesting bug. Glad it got resolved.
