Seek treasure bug when encountering the ''gang of unknown people"

When you decide to attack this, the map just does not load most of the time. The screen is black and you can hear the axe trap sounds in the back but the black screen just stays.

I managed to get it to work few times after exiting the game and reloading, but that works maybe 25% of time.

Should probably mention which map type you are loading up, or types, if it is happening in multiple mission maps.

Must be sewer levels from treasure hunt. I think bandits don't appear in other dungeon types.

I have also been having this problem for the last few days.

The screen stays completely black with the mouse pointer visible. I can still access the menu . I have tried reloading the game but when I accept the mission it always loads back with the black screen. If i quit and reload the game it works sometimes.
When it does work it always loads the dungeon ruins map where you start in a small room.

As Butcher said, it's not related to a specific map. It's anytime you encounter bandits on the treasure hunt. So far I encountered them in Sewers and the other map is some ruins. It happens only during bandit encounter.

Just had it happen on my first Seek Treasure mission, also found bandits, chose to fight them and perma blackscreen
