Stuck on "Getting Game Ready" loading screen

After playing the game for a few hours, my game gets stuck on the "Getting Game Ready" loading screen whenever I come back from the market or finish an arena battle for example. I can load saves before that point but I'm basically stuck in my game and I can't progress because anytime I do something I get stuck at that loading screen.

Does anyone know how to fix this or how I can report the bug to have them address it?

yep had my 1st game crash, it then downloaded some 187mb update and not it wont get past "loading Assets..."

ok verified game integrity found 1 file that was broken, game seems to start now.

I too am having the same issue. I played for a good long while today, I just came to a point where the game got stuck on the load screen. I reloaded the most recent autosave, same result. I reloaded an old autosave, same result. Tried verifying, didn't find anything. Anyone find a fix for this?

With Idemus' problem, I think you need to load an older game autosave file. I ran into this once, where there was something from an action I did in a turn that caused a logic problem where I couldn't go to the next day. It just got stuck on a black screen and never proceeded. I was able to get around it by loading up an even older save file and going from there, basically, loading a file from one day before the day that was fudged up.

For everyone else's problem, verify the game files. If you update your game after being away for a while, your game could update "in the wrong order" somehow, and files that should have been updated were not, or were updated in the wrong order. Verify your game files, and then see if things are working again.
