DLC classes wildly overpowered
Like there's some good class combos but anything Ronin, Monk, or Shifter trashes people way higher level than them. At level 13 Jared was tearing apart my best fighters and now carries me anytime I have to fight other DLC classes.

A staff monk basically shuts down the enemy team with constant CC and I don't know what Ronin are doing but there's a flash and everyone's on the ground.

I'd love to see some balance patches on them also the ability to turn off the DLC. Especially while they are still so much better than the base classes.

you have to do a questline that'll involve some castle dwelling and an infiltration (literally stealth involved) and you'll unlock a mage arena and a tower that'll make you able to upgrade one of you gladiators into a mage , save scumming recommended because the RNG is low.

What DLC are you even talking about?

Yeah makes sense you wanna save scum, so far every story event ends in something way more powerful than anything before it. There is no balance in this game for sure so of course they also did the classic bit of adding a bad stealth section.

What type of character would you spec in prep for a new mage?

someone with decent intel and willpower , the RNG is based on intel and the spells depend of those 2 stats

What is the weapon skill that would be used for preparing for a Mage? Like if you want to prepare for an Unarmed Monk, you just have someone punching a training dummy from day 1.

actually none since mage mostly focus on casting spells, and they get a togglable spell that change their attacks to using a "weak" elemental bolt ( depending of the spell tree) which deals damage prior to their equipement, if its a wand or staff,

I fought a ronin, she was about level 16 with 84 in two-handed weapons. WTH???

So, the Named Gladiators are built to specific character sheets, even if it is impossible for them to have those numbers on the character sheets. I had a Named Glad challenge my Arena, and my Counter Tank named Shieldbro was able to weather the combat and take her down. I saw that the number of available Skill Points was -2. So whatever level you encounter these named Glad at, assume they are End Game investment in Weapon skill and Class Skill.
