Suggestions for changes/additions
I have four suggestions:

  • #1. Add a bit more info (or tutorial) given in-game on things like breeding, quality, and how to get earning coins initially (I nearly starved my first rabbit because I thought it was an idler game from the start and only when I read the Steam discussion forums did I understand it's a clicker game before it's a full idler). None of those mechanics felt intuitive and I only learned about them from the Steam discussions, which felt an awkward and clunky way to learn here.
  • #2. More variety for in-game music. The current riff is chill, but it is short and does get repetitive quickly. I'd be happy to earn more music variety - different riffs that I can choose what plays when I feel like it - either in game using the in game coins, or even buy it with real money as cheap DLC.
  • #3 Add generation tracking for our animals. We can already rename them AND we can breed different colours/qualities/stats, so it'd be nice to be able to see all of that over the generations on a dedicated family-tree panel in game going all the way back to our very first animals (including animals that have 'left' after having babies). Maybe with tabs for each animal type or something.
  • #4 More pastures. I'd like to be able to have multiple pastures going that I can swap different animals in and out of (partly so I can have head cannon that they're with their friends, or making new friends if I swap animals around into different pastures). I don't know how the coin-earning mechanics would work to keep it balanced. Maybe only the active pasture showing earns coins? Maybe the warehouse already does this (can we name it something less cold and depressing than a warehouse then?). The idle game Chillquarium does something like this with multiple aquariums - maybe look at how they do it and see what you think.

Loving Tiny Pasture so far though, thank you devs!

(I did give this feedback using the Google form too, but I'm not sure if that form went through correctly... so I'm putting it here too just in case. Hope that's okay. Don't mean to spam you, devs!)

Add/emphasise, that breeding will remove the parents, as it was a shock to see. I understand why, but still.

Yes, this should be added to the info/tutorial in game too. I know there's a line somewhere that says the parents will 'go away for some time together' or something, which is cute, but doesn't 100% convey that they'll be gone forever. Maybe keep the current line as flavour text but add a line that explains properly?

Agreed... I thought they would come back after some time had passed since it's kind of implied by that small sentence that they'll come back eventually but mine never did, I was so sad xD

Came here to ask about this and then found this thread. So they completely disappear? I would not have guessed this and the information text suggests otherwise. It also doesn't make sense to me tbh, must be a really rough act, if creating an offspring makes the parents disappear ;_;

Nope they are totally gone. Basically they are crafted into the offspring.
