Error on macbook: your system has run out of application memory

I keep getting a popup error saying that my system has run out of application memory because of this game, it's currently using 601.7 MB, I'm using a macbook air from 2020 with an M1 chip, running Sonoma 14.5. Disappointed because I've really been enjoying this game so far but I guess I can't play it anymore unless anyone knows a fix?

I met the same problem with you before, just go to your Library, and click Tiny Pasture ,Properties, General, disable “Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game”. I'm using a macbook air with an M3 chip, hope this would be useful for u
