How to play with a friend online?

I see my frien online
I add him to my Party
I select Marathon mode
I press start to select a grid
The game starts but it is like a bot is playing instead of my friend

Can you help please?

You must add him to uplay
The time you add him you must set TETRIS LIVE ON and then add him to play
