After making all the snowmen, the gate at the entrance will open again.
Going through that gate will take you from the normal world to the mirror world.
Sitting on the bench and falling asleep will take you from the mirror world to the dream world.
Making a snowman in the dream world will unlock the rest of the mirror world.
To fall asleep, you sit on a bench and then press the same direction again to go from sitting to sleeping.
Were there any clues in the game for the player to do all this or was it meant to be obscure? I created all the snowmen and walked through the north gate and entered the dream world and thought "The End?" meant the devs would be making a sequel and the dream world was just a preview of the layout for the next game.
I was about to uninstall the game until I checked the forums to see people talking about "mirror world", "dream world", and "build the snowmen closer together". I also didn't know about sleeping on the bench until reading the forums.
I probably wouldn't design it this way if I was releasing it today, but I'm not sure how I'd hint it better without significantly changing the game as-is.
Dream butterflies guiding the way? :)
